These buildings are both located in Vienna and designed by artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser. He rejects the use of straight lines claiming that they provide unnecessary guidelines for humanity to live within. This is reflected in his fantasy style buildings. I love his use of bright colour as it reminds me of a children's book, it's as though he's glorifying the imagination we had as children and making it acceptable to still think in that way when we're adults.
